Insects
These pictures are of the insect collection I made during Insect Biology fall semester 2007 at Denison University. Since then I have become an amateur entamologist and am currently working on another collection. The collection below contains 15 orders of insects: Orthoptera (Grasshoppers, Katydids and Crickets; Mantodea (Preying Mantids); Phasmatodea (Walking Sticks); Blattodea (Cockroaches); Hymenoptera (Wasps, Bees and Ants); Diptera (Flies); Trichoptera (Caddisflies); Dermaptera (Earwigs); Coleoptera (Beetles); Hemiptera (Bugs, Treehoppers, Leaf hoppers); Lepidoptera (Butterflies and Moths); Odonata (Dragonflies and Damselflies); Siphonaptera (Fleas); Isoptera (Termites); and Thysanura (Firebrats and Silverfish).
